Minima Majestic Hotel

1/2

So unique it’s won awards for it! If you’re coming to Adelaide for the Fringe, you may as well celebrate with a stay in this über-artistic hotel! All 46 studio rooms at the Minima Majestic are individually decorated by different South Australian artists, on the theme of ‘Creativity and Creation’. The interpretations are broad and the resulting interiors reflect anything from cityscapes to anemones, but they are all beautiful.

The hotel itself is based in North Adelaide, next to the Adelaide Botanic Gardens and within easy walking distance of the Adelaide Central Business District. It stands out from the crowd with a colourful mural painted on the façade, a beacon for artists and art lovers for miles around.

The Soho Hotel

1/2

Without a doubt the pool at the Soho Hotel steals the show. Located on the fifth floor, the heated rooftop pool enjoys views over Adelaide and the open roof makes it perfect for some twilight stargazing. Each of the rooms at the Clarion bear special features and all include king-size beds, modern bathrooms and extras such as an iPod dock.

The Corner suite is our favourite with a balcony opening up to views over the streets of Adelaide, closely seconded by the Spa Suite, with its large corner bath-tub. Positioned in the buzzing East End of Adelaide, this is the kind of hotel that packs a punch location wise.
