Vanuatu accommodation: your next best pacific paradise

If you’re tired of slumming it in hotels where you must share the pool with other guests, try The Havannah next time. Across the road, Mangoes Restaurant serves up cocktails in coconuts alongside seafood platters and curries. The Coco Lime Margarita with homemade coconut cream, tequila and lime goes down a treat.

Our tip? Opt for the Lagoon View Pool Bungalow, which as the name suggests, has its own private pool overlooking the lagoon. The bungalows are perfect for couples after a tranquil escape.

Iririki Island Resort and Spa underwent major renovations in the earlier part of 2016, and has since reopened with a fresh face. Jump on the ferry in Port Vila and head over to the private island accommodation, which is home to a spa, restaurant, cafes, bars and casino.

Accommodation options include overwater bungalows, waterfront and family suites, in addition to a tri-level penthouse for larger groups. The rooms are comfortable, filled with tropical style furnishings, timber floors and private verandahs.
