International Travel

Our favourite international getaways

As much as we love our own backyard, sometimes it’s nice to get a stamp or two in our passports. Nothing beats the excitement of packing your suitcase, the stress of making sure you’re under that 23-kilogram li...

mit and of course, the relaxation of just getting to sit back and spend hours watching movies while you fly across the globe. And to help you out, we’ve rounded up where to go and where to stay in some of our most popular international destinations.

If you crave a delight of the senses, take your next adventures to the wondrous countries of Asia. Maybe you’re drawn into the bright lights of Tokyo, where you can dine on delectable ramen, spend an afternoon in a quirky café or have a picture moment at the busiest street crossing in the world. Explore the multicultural sights, sounds and smells of Singapore. Taste delicious Michelin-star Hainanese chicken from a regular ol’ fast food stall or Kaya Toast at one of the many Hawker Centres around town. And don’t forget your photo op of the famous Marina Bay Sands.

Now, we know that not all of us want to be overstimulated during our holiday, so that’s why you can choose to take a calm and collective route. Spend your day lazing by the beach in Cambodia or Vietnam, where the sun makes your skin glisten and the only stimulation you need is a sugar rush from your Mojito—make it a large, please!

Living on this beautiful—but large—island means it takes a long time to even leave our shores (that are girt by sea) and not all of us love long-haul flights. So, why not enjoy the beauty of the South Pacific. Recreate scenes from Moana with your kids on the shores of Fiji, lap up the ultimate dose of luxury with a stay in an overwater bungalow or be adventurous and rent a car to explore the natural beauty of New Zealand’s North Island.

For those who want to go big and (not) go home, may we suggest Europe? Feel the love as your stroll through the streets of magical Paris or count how many times you hear the Australian accents whilst you party in one of the many pubs around London.

So with your passport in hand, we’ve got some great spots around the world for you to explore and the best hotel experiences to make your trip memorable.
